ONGOING PROJECTS
Here are the details about our current projects in progress, as well as confirmed future projects.

Biddisham, St John the Baptist, Somerset. 4 bells, 8cwt Tenor
The ring of 4 bells are being rehung on all new fittings for full-circle ringing. These bells are the only complete ring of bells cast by Richard 1 Purdue. Strangely, he Treble dates from 1609, while the back three date from 1628. The Cracked 2nd will be specialist weld repaired in the crown.

Worthing, St Botolph, Sussex
The 4th and 5th of the ring have developed loose gudgeons in their timber headstocks. The headstocks are being replaced with all new fabricated steel headstocks, and the original Doncaster heads will still be used to mount the headstock to the bell.

Ludgershall, St James, Wilts
The ring of 6 bells are being rehung and modernised. They previously hung on plain bearings, and the headstocks are being machined to accept modern gudgeons and ball bearings. The hastings stays are being removed and traditional sliders made and fitted, as well as all new roller boxes. The wheels are to be re-rimmed, and frame painting will be undertaken by the local ringers.
